This challenge is not active right now but you can still practice.

Given a 2D array of letters and a list of words to find, return a map of words with the positions of each letter. Try to code as efficient an algorithm as you can as submissions will be ranked by how fast they complete the word search correctly.

Challenge ends at 11:59 UTC on June 22 and submissions beyond that time will not be scored.

You can get the challenge project template by installing the Summer of LabVIEW - Word Search package in VIPM. Once the package is installed, you will have a Word Search project template available when creating a new project in LabVIEW.

The challenges are currently expected to be run on a Ryzen 2700X CPU which is an 8 core CPU. Memory will only be limited by the 32-bit address space (3-4GB) of LabVIEW 32 bit. You are free to submit as much as you like, only your best score will be counted.
